DATE: Thursday 1 October 2026

TIME: 18:30 (Fringe Event) 19:15 - 21:00 (AGM)

VENUE: 73 University St, Belfast, BT7 1HL / Online (MS Teams)

We would like to invite all our members, that is all pharmacists registered with the Society, to join us for the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

This year, we invite members to join us for a short session before the AGM:

'Connecting through Communities of Practice: Next steps in Community Pharmacy'

During this session you will hear how a group of early-career pharmacists have come together through the Pharmacy Forum to form a Community of Practice: sharing experiences, learning  from one another and supporting their peers. The Forum will also explore what it could look like to expand this approach across the profession, starting with community pharmacy, and how you can become involved by considering what might be possible in your own area of practice.

No preparation required — just come along, meet colleagues and hear what’s happening.

This will commence at 6:30pm, followed by the AGM at 7:15pmThe agenda for the AGM will include:

  • Adoption of previous year's minutes

  • President of the Society’s Address

  • Financial Statement

  • CEO of the Society's Address

  • Chair of the Pharmacy Forum’s Address

  • Questions for the PSNI and Pharmacy Forum NI

  • Any Other Business

For further information please contact Janet Elliott on janet.elliott@psni.org.uk

Both events will be hybrid events meaning you can either attend in-person or join online via MS Teams. You will have received links to register your attendance via your registrant email address. Please select the appropriate ticket when registering. If you select an online ticket you will receive a joining link in advance of the meeting.

All those who register will receive a link to the Annual Report, the agenda, and a copy of last year's minutes one week before the meeting.

We look forward to seeing you there.
