PASS, the Pharmacist's Advice and Support Service, is a dedicated independent charity established to provide support for pharmacists, former pharmacists, and their families across Northern Ireland.
We understand the unique pressures of the pharmacy profession. Whether you are facing personal hardship, financial challenges, or professional burnout, PASS offers a safe, confidential space to find the emotional and practical support you need to move forward.
Financial Help & Support
PASS provides vital financial assistance via grants or interest-free loans to pharmacists, foundation year students, former pharmacists, and their dependents facing unexpected hardship. Our support is designed to offer a safety net during challenging times, ensuring you can focus on your well-being and professional life.
- Essential Living Costs: Help with rent, mortgage, and utility bills.
- Disability & Illness: Support for specialist equipment or care needs.
- Education & Retraining: Assistance for students or those seeking to rejoin the register.

Counselling Services
PASS is pleased to work in partnership with locally based organisation, Lena by Inspire. As one of the UK and Ireland’s largest providers of mental health and wellbeing support to private, public and third sector organisations, Inspire offers an online support hub, a 24/7 helpline and counselling.
