Pharmacy Forum was delighted to attend the Northern Ireland Centre for Pharmacy Learning and Development (NICPLD) final mandatory training day of the year for trainee pharmacists, held at Whitla Hall on 8 July.
Una O'Farrell, Interim Manager of Pharmacy Forum, delivered a presentation highlighting the importance of professional indemnity cover, the role of raising concerns in supporting safe and effective practice, and the range of formal and informal support available to pharmacists throughout their careers.
The session provided an opportunity to engage with trainee pharmacists as they prepare to enter professional practice, reinforcing the value of accessing guidance and support from the outset of their careers.
Pharmacy Forum extends its sincere thanks to NICPLD for the invitation to participate in this important event and for the opportunity to meet with the next generation of pharmacists. We look forward to continuing our collaboration in supporting the pharmacy workforce across Northern Ireland.
