Due to additional pressures caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Pharmacy Forum NI has extended the closing date for applications to the C.W. Young Fund until 11 May at 5pm. Up to £7,500 is available in one year under the fund, and a maximum of £15,000 over 3 years.
The award aims to promote and advance (by charitable means) the development of pharmacy in Northern Ireland by supporting the education, acquisition of knowledge and furtherance of research in Northern Ireland. The fund is for research and education projects that will promote and advance pharmacy (for the public benefit) in Northern Ireland through the award of scholarships, bursaries or maintenance allowances.
Eligibility criteria are as follows:
- You are a scholar, pharmacist or student engaged in study or research in the discipline of pharmacy
- Your proposed work is linked to an appropriate educational establishment in Northern Ireland e.g. Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University. If an organisation can prove to the Trustees they have an educational component to their operations then a submission can be made for consideration.
- Your proposed work seeks to promote and advance the development of pharmacy in Northern Ireland
