
Jermaine Afrifa
Regional Lead Pharmacist, Interface Clinical Services
Jermaine registered with the PSNI in 2013 and has since worked in a range of roles within the pharmacy sector. Initially working as a Pharmacist Store Manager across NI, he was involved in a number of projects supporting his community, such as the Building Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP) project in North Belfast. In 2016, he moved into the role of Pharmacy Operations Manager for a national pharmacy chain, supporting pharmacies across the UK to adapt to external contractual changes and how this affected their daily practice.
Currently working as a Regional Lead Clinical Pharmacist covering Northern Ireland, he is heavily involved in helping patients manage their chronic conditions within GP practices in areas such as Asthma, COPD & Diabetes. As a regional trainer, he is responsible for coaching and developing the clinical team to ensure the high standard of care is delivered to support the NHS, patients and practices.
