Eamon O’Donnell

Clinical Pharmacist, Vice-Chair Pharmacy Forum NI, Forum Board EDI Champion

Since his registration with in 2013, Eamon spent six years in the community sector post-qualification, managing various pharmacy teams and delivering a range of additional services (vaccination, care home supply, addiction services, community project work) in various locations across Northern Ireland. Eamon has been involved in multiple BCPP projects, has been trained in and delivered flu vaccination, travel health and Opioid substitution services.

As a community pharmacist, much of Eamon’s time has been spent training others, most notably as a tutor for pre-registration pharmacists. Eamon has also been involved with voluntary sector community organisations and local council groups all seeking to improve healthcare outcome for a diversifying and aging population.

Now currently working in primary care, Eamon provides support to GP practices to manage chronically ill patients across several disease areas. This can involve patient facing clinic work, remote clinics as well as notes based audits and therapy reviews.
