Colette Flanagan
General Practice Pharmacist
Since registration in 2007 Colette has worked in numerous roles across community and primary care. Initially working as a community pharmacist, Colette was involved in training pre-registration pharmacists across a pharmacy chain. As the Responsible Pharmacist Regulations came into place, she developed and implemented standard operating procedures, proceeding to take on the role of Superintendent Pharmacist in 2010.
In 2017 Colette moved to General Practice pharmacy having enjoyed the challenges and learning experienced while working in primary care on a part-time basis alongside community pharmacy. She subsequently completed her independent prescribing and Diploma in Diabetes in 2018 and is currently undertaking the Clinical Leadership in Pharmacy programme.
Colette currently supports her practice and patients with medicines management and chronic disease management, running clinics both face-to-face and remotely in anticoagulation, hypertension, cardiovascular risk and diabetes.
