We are pleased to announce that Dr Aaron John Courtenay, Dr Deborah Lowry and Dr Oisín Kavanagh, are the recipients of the CW Young funding opportunity 2022.
The Fund which is managed by Pharmacy Forum NI aims to support research and education projects that will promote and advance pharmacy for the public benefit in Northern Ireland.
This year’s awarded project entitled, Valuing community pharmacy services in Northern Ireland – a follow on study, will explore the provision of wrap around pharmaceutical care in the community following the outcomes of the MeDeSin NI study 2021, also funded by the CW Young Fund. The team of researchers will develop educational frameworks for practice sharing and explore telehealth and support services in community pharmacy. The work will be based at Ulster University, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
