
Andrew Cheung
Before changing sector to work as a Hospital Pharmacist, Andrew worked in Community Pharmacy for over 7 years where he became a Pharmacy Manager. Andrew’s current role is Multiple Sclerosis Pharmacist, Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast Trust, and has previous experience working in a variety of disciplines within the Trust. During his time as a Hospital at Home Pharmacist, he forged strong links and worked closely with Practice-Based Pharmacists and greatly appreciates and strongly recognises the invaluable skills and services that they provide. Outside of his day job, Andrew is the Scotland and Northern Ireland Regional Hospital Pharmacist Representative for the Pharmacists Defence Association (PDA) ensuring there is a voice to express the concerns and opinions of Hospital Pharmacists, when it comes to working conditions, and any matters relating to policy or individual concerns. Recently Andrew became Chair of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Working Group for the Pharmacy Forum. The EDI group was established to help educate and inform our colleagues in race, equality, LGBTQ+ , mental health, disability, gender equality and any areas associated with discrimination within Pharmacy.
